The villa

Slow mornings, warm stone and the sea below

Villa Lavanda is my grandparents' 1890s stone house, restored with care and divided into three apartments. Thick limestone walls keep the rooms cool in August; every apartment has its own entrance and its own place outside.

The garden smells of lavender and rosemary from June to September, and the olive oil on your table comes from the forty trees around the house.

Winter stays: from November to March Studio Rosmarin welcomes stays of 4 weeks or more (heating, fibre Wi-Fi, a desk by the window). Ask us for winter rates.

FAQ

Good to know before you come

What time are check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00. Tell us your ferry time and we will try to be flexible; luggage can always stay with us.

Is there a minimum stay?

Three nights in July and August, two nights the rest of the season.

Do we need a car?

Not really. The cove, a bakery and two konobas are within walking distance and the bus to Korčula town stops at the end of our road. Parking is free if you bring one.

Are children and pets welcome?

Children are very welcome: we have a cot and a high chair, and the penthouse has a twin room. Small dogs can stay in Studio Rosmarin, which has its own fenced garden.

How do we pay?

After we confirm your request we send a link for a 30% deposit; the rest is paid on arrival by card or cash.
